HOW TO HIRE A PRIVATE INVESTIGATION SERVICE IN BC

It is recommended to at least take the following three steps in hiring a PI firm in the province of BC. FIRST STEP Ascertain that they are licensed as a PI firm by BC's Ministry of Public Safety & Solicitor General Security Programs Division [SPD].

SECOND STEP Ensure that the firm can supply the investigative resources appropriate for your unique needs (if the PI Firm offers services they cannot provide, it is fraud). THIRD STEP Have a written contract that ensures you are provided with a written report of activities and time (also include agreed upon appropriate fees).
